Konstantin Klyuka heads the Business Russia Electric Vehicles Committee

At the meeting of the coordinating Council of the All-Russian Public Organization "Business Russia", the creation of the electric vehicles committee was approved. Konstantin Klyuka, a member of the General Council of Business Russia, founder and CEO of KONTINUUM GROUP, became its chairman.

"The work of the new committee will primarily be aimed at interacting with electric transport manufacturers, developers of electric vehicles infrastructure in order to support and stimulate the production of equipment and components for charging infrastructure, and other sectors of interested businesses. The business community supports the concept for the development of production and use of electric vehicles, approved by the government of the Russian Federation. In particular, KONTINUUM GROUP is investing in the creation of the largest private network of charging stations for electric vehicles in Russia. The pilot regions of the project were Moscow and St. Petersburg," says Konstantin Klyuka.

In addition, the new structure will allow members of Business Russia to contribute to the development of state programs and regulatory framework for the development of electric transport and infrastructure of charging stations on federal highways and in the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as to participate in the development of measures to support the electric vehicles industry.

In addition to interaction with the state and business, an important task of the committee will also be to raise public awareness of public and private initiatives in the field of electric vehicles, develop tools for the social attractiveness of electric transport and trust in the charging infrastructure, stimulate awareness of consumption among the population and the choice in favor of electric vehicles.

Key objectives of the Business Russia Electric Vehicles Committee: popularization, promotion and support of the creation of competitive solutions in Russia in terms of electric vehicles and infrastructure, as well as reducing dependence on hydrocarbon fuels and improving the environmental situation.
